The children´s Center of San Pedro gives attention to 40 children, who are divided into four age-groups, the first being children from 1 to 1 ½ years old, the second, from 18 to 24 months old, the third from 24 to 36 months old, and the fourth group are also children from 24 to 36 months old.  They start work at 6 am, because in this community the parents work in flower plantations from very early in the morning.  The infrastructure of the center consists of 6 classrooms which are well-distributed, but the floors are bare cement, which means they are very cold, and the children cannot develop their normal activities, and in various cases has caused the children to come down with colds or respiratory problems.
